Hi Shai,

I posted about this earlier as well, but i guess i was not clear  enough, so i am trying to explain my porblem again..

I am trying to Automate my Build , so it can create a MSI file of all the files and Directories under Drop Location.

Basically if the build  is successfull after End to End Iteration. It should Package all the contents of the drop location.

My Projects Drop Location does not only contain assembly files it includes Other folders and files too which needs to be packeged as well. 

Any ideas , suggestions would help....THANKS

Thakns for your reply,But all i found from above link is a way to install the MSI file while running a build, but i want something else.

I actually want to create MSI file of my drop location. I found this link http://nantcontrib.sourceforge.net/release/latest/help/tasks/msi.html <MSI> task..

I dont know if i am right or not, But is there a way this task can be used for the same with  MSBUILD in my TfsBuild.proj file. I am new to Build automation world so please bear if i ask any stupid question..

Actually i have never used Wix At all  i cant find a way to include files and folder from drop location in Setup Project while the build is running.

If you have done it before maybe you could give me example how to use it.

I've never used it - but I've heard Installshield integrates very easily with MSBuild in general and TFS specifically
