    Another adding files question

We have VSS 6.0d with .net 1.1 and 2.0 IDE's.  I took a backup of the db.  I unloaded it into a folder so that all folders are visable.  I was told I can just add the files to TFS.

Do I need to add the 1.1 files from VS2003 and the 2.0 from VS2005?

I tried to just do an add all together and thern went in via VS2005 to open a solution file.

It could not open the associated projects to the file and kept telling me it was from a higher version and could not read it properly.

    Any ideas or suggestions?

    Re: Another adding files question

    Hello,

You know that when adding files this way you will lose all history....

Try reading abot VSSConvertor, it's Microsoft command-line tool to migrate VSS to Source Control.

Unbind the project from VSS or Source Control and try open the solution locally.
